Nancy Hom leads a gathering of KSW artists and organizers from the ‘70s including Genny Lim, Jerry Jew, Dave Dea, Norman Jayo, Zand Gee and Lou Syquia in a community dinner and talk story exploring the organization's first 10 years. Afterwards, prepare for an intergenerational lineup of APA artist/activists that includes the aforementioned Genny Lim (American Book Award Winner), trans South Asian Performance Art duo Dark Matter and Aisha Fukushima (TEDx), who have taken this legacy into bold, new directions.

 

This event is free and open to the public. There is a suggested $5 donation at the door. (No one turned away for lack of funds.)
