Narrative Prose Basics with Claire Light
Fiction writers, creative non-fiction writers, and anyone looking to take a back to basics approach to learning the art of Narrative Prose, this class if for you. Join Claire Light, author of Slightly Behind and to the Left, for a four week all-levels course that will help strengthen your understanding of narrative writing and help you put those stories that you’ve been wanting to tell onto the page.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Claire Light is a Bay Area writer and cultural worker. She has worked for 17 years in nonprofit administration, particularly arts in the Asian American community. Her MFA in fiction came from San Francisco State University, and some of her fiction is published in McSweeney's, Hyphen, Farthing, and The Encyclopedia Project. A short collection of her short stories, called SLIGHTLY BEHIND AND TO THE LEFT, was published by Aqueduct Press in 2009.
