Poetry & Brunch: MamaSita's Chaat House

Start your weekend right with three courses of brunch lovingly prepared by interdisciplinary artist Sita K. Bhaumik. Sita's food is a beautiful amalgamation of her mixed Indian/Japanese/Colombian/American heritage. If you haven't attended one of her community dinners yet, you're missing out! (Get tickets.)
Menu:
• Pomegranate Mimosas* & Limeade
• MamaSita's Masala Chai & Coffee
• Bread and Butter with Orange Blossom Carrot Jam and Dates
• Fresh Seasonal Fruit with Edible Flowers
• Shahan Ful: Fava Beans with Feta, Jalapeño, Tomato, Hard Boiled Eggs and Bread
• Kheer: Cardamom Rice Pudding with Mango Sauce
Each course will be presented with a poetry pairing by notable Bay Area poets Ravi Chandra, Shikha Malaviya, and Brynn Saito.
This is a family-friendly fundraiser for KSW! We are more than happy to accomodate community members with dietary restrictions (vegan, etc.).
